New investment to fuel UKGlobal growth

Wed, July 20, 2016

Philip Truman, who has successfully developed UKGlobal Risk Solutions Limited over the past five years, has joined forces with Nic Hamblin and the Hodson family to form UKGlobal Holdings Limited.

Hamblin will be the chief executive officer of the new company. Truman becomes chief operating officer while retaining his role as chief executive officer of UKGlobal Risk Solutions Limited.

Building upon the client service, professionalism and entrepreneurial spirit of UKGlobal Risk Solutions Limited, which becomes a subsidiary of the new venture, UKGlobal Holdings Limited aims to develop and expand the company into a national force, focussing upon commercial insurance, high net worth and expanding into other specialisms.

The new business intends to expand from the current two offices in London and Manchester, in a model that is very different from most national brokers, by creating subsidiary businesses majority-owned by UKGlobal Holdings Limited, but with significant stakeholdings held by the principals in each region.

Hamblin and Truman are joined on the board of UKGlobal Holdings Limited by Richard Hodson and Stephen Proctor.
